A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

"M"~ABC Wednesday 101310
"M" is for morning and mountains! I drove out to Thousand Palms Canyon last weekend. I was following the rainbow in the one photo and didn't even see the very faint one above the road sign in the other one! ABC Wednesday 101310
That is such a wonderful road to follow a rainbow! Wow, gorgeous! Did you hike on any of the trails out there...I am looking forward to getting out there again in the cooler weather!! Love it!

How wonderful! I don't think I have ever seen a rainbow early on a morning but whatever the time of day - raindows are so inspirational.
