A few minutes later, after the sun disappeared, these cliffs were their normal color. They were only golden for a short time and I'm glad we were able to view them in their glory.

Windy day~That's My World for 0429809
Saturday morning was windy here in our desert. Just look at the palm trees! We've had windy days recently and yesterday was cloudy and back down into the 80's, a relief from the 100 degrees last week! That's My World for Tuesday, April 28, 2009.

looks like the winds we have back here...that sound like they're ripping the house down. of all the weather elements i think rip-roaring wind the most irksome. i can remember the santa anas when we lived in so cal...and i din't much care for them either. have a lovely wednesday.
